Dr. Yu-Chuan Liang holds a Ph.D. in Animal Science from Tunghai University and previously served as a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University in the United States. He is currently a Research Technician at the Agricultural Biotechnology Research Center, Academia Sinica, and also serves as an adjunct professor at universities in Taiwan.
His expertise includes agricultural biotechnology, animal science, and artificial intelligence.
His research primarily focuses on:
-
Preclinical and applied animal models for studies on plant-based pharmaceuticals and molecular vaccines
-
Applications of plant-derived compounds and phytogenics in skeletal muscle development
-
Development and application of intelligent animal management systems
Dr. Liang is committed to solving challenges in Taiwanese agriculture and advancing the development of the agricultural biotechnology industry. Through robust fundamental scientific research, he provides diverse solutions for the industry. His goal is to bridge the gap between basic science and practical application, ensuring that scientific achievements can be translated into industrial use.
To this end, his team actively collaborates with biotech companies focused on phytopharmaceuticals, laboratory animals, and livestock production. By maintaining close ties with these sectors, they remain responsive to emerging problems and needs. Acting as a bridge between scientific research and industrial application (commercialization), they aim to deliver effective solutions tailored to industry demands.
